- Over the years we have written several hymns to Our Lady and “Pilgrims with Mary” uses some of those hymns as prayers for this series of pilgrimages with Mary notecards. Each of the wordings follow her life’s journey as seen from different perspectives – a new mother’s lullaby, the mother of a dying son, on her birthday, as our mother. Notecards are printed on quality marbled card and with the reverse of each notecard left blank for a personal greeting. They are presented with a colour-matching 100 gsm laid envelope (110 mm x 220 mm). ‘Mary’s Lullaby’ is a Watermead hymn that imagines Mary as a new mother singing to her child as if in vision, seeing the various moments of life that she will share with her son – Bethlehem, Jerusalem, Finding in the Temple, Jesus’ Ministry, Pieta, Magnificat : Annunciation. The sheet music to this hymn is available and the we have also used the wording on one of our Laminated A4 Thoughts series. (The hymn is sung on the CD ‘Our Songs Gave Praise’ – one of the tracks transferred to CD from the original cassette recording ‘Mary Our Mother’)
