- The title "Smiles and Sighs" takes its theme from the selection of verses on these notecard. Some offer humour while others share a prayer or poem to inspire or give comfort, and the reverse of each card is left blank to allow for a personal greting to be written. This verse was submitted to us by several people for possible publishing – its author ‘Anonymous’. ‘Wakey, Wakey’ is a smile of a prayer for the early morning with a humour that should appeal to everyone – especially those who do not like getting up in the morning. The sleeping “Little Saint” adds our humour to the prayer. Watermead also produces this poem in their Laminated A4 Thoughts series.
