- The title "Smiles and Sighs" takes its theme from the selection of verses on these notecard. Some offer humour while others share a prayer or poem to inspire or give comfort, and the reverse of each card is left blank to allow for a personal greting to be written. ‘Going Home’ is the wording of one of our hymns, written for Monty and sung at his funeral. Each of the three verses speak of ‘homes’ – one’s own, Jesus’, and the eternal home. Comforting wording for people of faith.
