- WATERMEAD STORY : The Watermead Apostolate began in the village of Birstall, Leicestershire, that was at the time blessed with a thriving “Churches Together” community - the various Christian Churches having signed a covenant to working and praying together as much as was possible. Inspired by that commitment and friendship Watermead invited people from the local Christian Churches to submit their original poetry, thoughts and prayers alongside the Catholic community for this next book. And they did - with the youngest contributor (seven) to the eldest (seventy-seven). Readers can share a pilgrimage of love and faith from people of various denominations as they walk through the garden of God's world.
