- The title "Smiles and Sighs" takes its theme from the selection of verses on these notecard. Some offer humour while others share a prayer or poem to inspire or give comfort, and the reverse of each card is left blank to allow for a personal greting to be written. ‘Smile Please’ was appearing as shared emails and as a quotation in various guises – submitted to us for publication regularly by various sources. Unfortunately we cannot find the author and so acknowledge that person as ‘Anonymous’ (if you are the author and reading this, then please let us know and we will make the necessary acknowledgement). It is a wonderful cheery thought to share with anyone at any occasion – even just to say ‘Hello’ - and smilingly illustrated by two of our “Little Saints”.
