ANGELUS NOTECARD (Matthew)

PRODUCT CODE AG01

SUITABILITY Our Angelus notecards are meditations for morning, noon and evening, the traditional times for saying the prayer - a prayerful way to share a greeting or message in union with Mary..

PICTURES This card carries three pictorial meditations from Matthew Concannon – ‘Restful Waters’, ‘Woodland Flowers’, ‘Winter Flight – Homeward’. Matthew was the first Watermead artist with his painting of the church ‘St Theresa’s in Watermead’ used on our first recording, “Our Songs Give Praise” and our prayer books. His many paintings are used as illustrations on many of the Watermead cards and books and he also sings on all of our recordings.

WORDING The reverse of each notecard has the following introduction to the Angelus prayer and its tradition, with space (see sample picture) for a personal greeting: The Angelus is a prayer that celebrates Mary’s invitation to become the Mother of Jesus. The Angel’s message, her reply and ‘the Word became flesh’ are moments of the prayer.

PRESENTATION Presented with a colour-matching quality 100 gsm envelope (110 mm x 220 mm).

SIZE 210 mm x 98 mm (DL size)

PLEASE NOTE Printed on quality card with an introduction to the Angelus prayer (pictured) printed on the the reverse of each card with space above for a personal greeting.
