SUITABILITY Our Angelus notecards are meditations for morning, noon and evening, the traditional times for saying the prayer - a prayerful way to share a greeting or message in union with Mary.

PICTURES This card carries three pictorial meditations from Rita Harris – ‘Rolleston Lake Hall’, ‘Lonsdale Pikes, Cumbria’, ‘Over Loch Ailert: Highlands of Scotland’. Angelus notecards are the first use of Rita’s paintings, although the inviting pathway in ‘Rolleston Lake Hall’ has appeared on other of Watermead’s publications and greeting cards.

WORDING The reverse of each notecard has the following introduction to the Angelus prayer and its tradition, with space (see sample picture) for a personal greeting: The Angelus is a prayer that celebrates Mary’s invitation to become the Mother of Jesus. The Angel’s message, her reply and ‘the Word became flesh’ are moments of the prayer. PRESENTATION Presented with a colour-matching quality 100 gsm envelope (110 mm x 220 mm).
