WATERMEAD STORY The original pictures and wordings used on Watermead cards are usually gifted or suggested to us by people who become involved with one of the Watermead Apostolate's activities - retreats, pilgrimages, conferences - or who discover us through our websites or read about us in newspaper/magazine articles. Over the years we have even been gifted original work by customers who come to our shop and centre. The wording on the front of this card was on a framed picture given to Watermead as encouragement when looking for alternative premises from which to base its apostolate.  The picture 'Sailing Boat' was given by Phil, a lady who was a regular attender at retreats the Apostolate arranged at Downham, Norfolk.
